Route 101: Players can catch different types of Pokemon like Zigzagoon, Wurmple, and Poochyena at the beginning of the game.
Petalburg Woods: This place has Pokemon such as Shroomish, Slakoth, and Taillow.
Rusturf Tunnel: Whismur is often seen in this tunnel.
Dewford Town: You can catch Tentacool and Magikarp while surfing or fishing.
Granite Cave: Makuhita and Aron live in this cave. Later in the game, players can find Registeel, a legendary Pokemon, here too.
Meteor Falls: In this cave, players may come across Zubat, Solrock, and Lunatone.
Safari Zone: You can find Nincada and other Pokemon in different parts of the Safari Zone.

You can find rare Pokemon like Bagon in the Meteor Falls cave, while Feebas can be caught by fishing in certain squares on Route 119. Registeel, Regice, and Regirock can be found in specific areas after solving in-game puzzles.
